By uploading my essay/video scholarship entry submission (“Submission”), I hereby grant to Aveda Institute all rights of ownership and interest in or to the Submission that I may possess, including any copyright rights, moral rights, or rights of publicity or personal privacy, and I acknowledge that upon execution of this Release I do not have any residual or remainder rights in or to the Submission. Aveda Institute shall have a non-exclusive, perpetual, and royalty-free right to use my biographical information, text, name, likeness, image, and voice in any media throughout the world, which may include, among others, social media postings, advertising, promotion, marketing, display on websites, and any of Aveda Institute’s online or print publications. I also understand that my Submission, image, or voice may be edited or modified as Aveda Institute deems appropriate in its sole discretion and I waive the right to approve the finished product. I hereby waive to the fullest extent that I may lawfully do so, any causes of action in law or equity I may have or may hereafter acquire against Aveda Institute arising out of or in connection with the use of the Submission, including but not limited to causes of action for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, copyright or trademark violation, right of publicity, or false light.
